Scott W. Baker Personal Bio
Scott W. Baker B.A.Sc. was born in Ontario, Canada, on June 24th 1973 and completed high school at St. Michaels University School in Victoria BC. He graduated from the Electrical Engineering programme at the University of British Columbia in 1995 with a speciality in communications. He is a self taught programmer and has been designing web sites since 1992. He has consulted for telecommunications companies across North America as a specialist in data network design and fibre-optic communications systems, and has presented several lectures on Internet Marketing strategies
Scott now lives in Sechelt BC (on the Sunshine Coast, just North of Vancouver) with his wife Kellei and their dog
Wyatt Earp. He works from home, primarily
designing web sites as the President of PawPrint.net and occasionally helps Kellei with the adventure tours she leads through her business
BC First Aid.

- 1987 - Playing first violin for Vivaldi A minor concerto for 4 violins in a near flawless concert to a standing ovation.
- 1989 - Meeting Tyler Brand (CCG) mid-Strait of Georgia and driving a RHIB for the first time
- 1990 - Being given the opportunity to lead the watch at night on the Robertson II under sail and knowing the skipper went to sleep
- 1991 - Receiving The Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award from HRH Prince Edward
- 1991 - Spending the entire summer on the SALTS boats (after not being given a volunteer birth at first)
- 1991 - Becoming the youngest person (at the time?) to achieve the SALTS Senior Sail Training Standard
- 1992 - Meeting HRH Prince Phillip
- 1992 - Participating in a Med-Evac from Thetis Island - and having everything turn out ok
- 1993 - Scorekeeping for the NBA - for the first game the Vancouver Grizzlies ever won.
- 1994 - Having lunch with HRH Prince Edward in a gazebo at the shore of a lake in Kelowna with only one other person
- 1994 - Starting PawPrint.net
- 1995 - Graduating from UBC with my Electrical Engineering Degree
- 1997 - Buying first vehicle
- 1998 - Buying first home
- 1999 - Finding out that WorldTime was being used by a NASA research team
- 2000 - Being selected as a finalist for the 2000 shareware awards (for WorldTime)
- 2000 - Discovering the Patrick O'Brian Aubrey - Mautrin series of books
- 2001 - Visiting the Cutty Sark and Portsmith
- 2002 - Earning $31,000.00 in 10 days (working 18-24 hour days as a telecom consultant)
- 2003 - Meeting HRH Prince Andrew
- 2003 - Joining the Coast Guard Auxiliary
- 2004 - Meeting Kellei - the love of his life
- 2004 - Attending CCG RHIOT school
- 2004 - Being flown to Toronto to represent BC Gold Award Achievers at a dinner with HRH Prince Phillip & meeting him

- 2005 - Winning at SARCOMP (Regional Search and Rescue Competition)
- 2005 - Winning at ISAR (International Search and Rescue Competition) after being the first couple ever to attend at the same time.
