Scott W. Baker Personal Bio
Scott W. Baker B.A.Sc. was born in Ontario, Canada, on June 24th 1973 and completed high school at St. Michaels University School in Victoria BC. He graduated from the Electrical Engineering programme at the University of British Columbia in 1995 with a specialty in communications. He is a self taught programmer and has been designing web sites since 1992. He has consulted for telecommunications companies across North America as a project manager, specialist in data network design and fibre-optic communications systems, and has presented lectures on Information Security, Information Governance, Telecommunications Network Design and Modeling, Social Media, Photography, and Internet Marketing strategies.

- 1987 - Playing first violin for Vivaldi A minor concerto for 4 violins in a near flawless concert to a standing ovation.
- 1989 - Meeting Tyler Brand (CCG) mid-Strait of Georgia and driving a RHIB for the first time
- 1990 - Being given the opportunity to lead the watch at night on the Robertson II under sail and knowing the skipper went to sleep
- 1991 - Receiving The Duke of Edinburgh´s Gold Award from HRH Prince Edward
- 1991 - Spending the entire summer on the SALTS boats (after not being given a volunteer birth at first)
- 1991 - Becoming the youngest person (at the time?) to achieve the SALTS Senior Sail Training Standard
- 1992 - Meeting HRH Prince Phillip
- 1992 - Participating in a Med-Evac from Thetis Island - and having everything turn out ok
- 1993 - Scorekeeping for the NBA - for the first game the Vancouver Grizzlies ever won.
- 1994 - Having lunch with HRH Prince Edward in a gazebo at the shore of a lake in Kelowna with only one other person
